PJB fixed bug #2121 regarding the empty project issue.
PJB changed ccp4i.py to use its own directories.def.dist. Db handler becomes more self-contained.
PJB addressed the issues of documentation. We need to auto generate documentations to keep them up-to-date. See 'Action' for more info about documentation generation.
PJB talked about dependencies. We need to have a script to check dependencies. We also need to an installer for windows. WY should consult Francois about making an installer for windows.
PJB mentioned that for some APIs should make it more specific, for example, we should have 'SetTitle', 'SetTaskname' instead of using generic 'SetData'. For NewJob, we need to force to have taskname.
PJB talked about change files. WY should improve the file by specifying the changed file names and adding categories. Also could link this file to index file.
WY added 'AddFile','GetFiles' to the handler. This should be more specific for 'AddInputFile' & 'AddOutputFile'. The same as the 'GetFiles'.
WY added 'Preference' in dbviewer.
Ronan came along to the meeting. He talked about his experience of integrating db handler into MrBump. He also made some suggestions of the dbviewer.
Ronan is using dbviewer to view the progress of MrBump jobs. He found it is very useful. He asked if he could distribute dbviewer with MrBump. He is planing to make a new release of MrBump in a couple of weeks.
Ronan talked about the features that could be useful for MrBump.
make MrBump as a sub project or a job with sub jobs in an existing project.
have a way (e.g flag or tag) in the dbviewer to indicate the solutions.
Show the title instead of taskname as the taskname could be the same for many jobs.
Action Items
PJB: Tidy up the Client API, break down into sections, re-organise Tcl API file. For pthon API, one class in each module. Write a script to auto generate the documents.
