Meeting Minutes

1. The list of deliverables was reviewed.
   • We need to decide what we want to do in developer meeting at next weekly meeting. We need to decide what features to show in dbviewer demo. A script will be needed for demo. The material must get ready before the week of the developer meeting.
   • For Milestone M07/1 Identify additional functionality for extended CCP4i def file tracking database, the document "Extending the tracking database" was reviewed. 'User-agent' stores what application make the change of the database. For 'subjob', we need to talk to Graeme. History data might be the hardest one.
   • For milestone M07/2 Developing the knowledge database, it is better to keep it nice and small. We should clean up any problems with def first.Next monthly meeting, we need to come back to this. We need to talk to Eleanor about it.
   • For milestone M07/3 Extending the visualiser functionality, notebook icon could be added in job node. A flag could be added to show the job is the final step. We might get some ideas from developer meeting. The document "Initial notes on visualiser" was reviewed. We could consider to add the display of the files which flow between jobs. Another new functionality could be "rerun the job/delete the jobs".
   • For deliverable D07/2 Investigate integration of tracking database/dbccp4i with other PX applications, we need to talk to Liz about MG and Graeme about XIA.
2. Discuss what we have achieved.
   • starKey has been completed.
   • SQL schema has been reviewed.
   • The poster for Bioxhit annual meeting has been done.
   • Major bugs have been fixed.
   • Client API has been improved.
   • The ccp4i/handler compatibility has been completed.
   • Visualiser has been reviewed. Improvement has been made based on the outcome of the review.
   • WY has tried db handler on Window system. A few problems has been found.
   • Deliverables went out.
3. WY demoed db viewer. It has been decided the 'Back' button should display last views rather than selection. Some bugs were found.
4. This month task would be concentrate on what to do in developer meeting and make 0.1 release.
5. Last tasklist was reviewed. Some bugs have been fixed. CCP4i/dbhandler compatibility code has been finished. There is issues for dbsocket bug. Reverse change would be temparate solution. WY should update the licence banners of the code. WY should learn the procedures of exporting code from CVS.

Action Items

1. PJB and WY look at the bugs in compatibility code and fix the bugs.
2. WY: update the license banner.
3. WY: Learn how to export code from CVS.
4. WY: reverse the change of dbsocket.py, record the issues for that.
5. WY: prepare the material for demo. PJB send a project to WY.
6. PJB: update the deliverable list.
