BIOXHIT/CCP4: Meeting Summary

Description January Review Meeting
Date and time of Meeting 2pm 22nd January 2007
Attendees Peter Briggs, Wendy Yang
Summariser Peter Briggs

Meeting Minutes

  1. The initial version of the new BIOXHIT project pages were reviewed and some final actions identified in order to complete them.
  2. The task list for deliverable 5.1.4 was reviewed. It was decided that WY should look at developing an initial Python client application that would write out the data items from a CCP4i database in a simple form. PJB would talk to Graeme about producing some example XML based on Avi's schema.
  3. The task list for the release of dbccp4i 0.1 was reviewed. Wendy has been working from the bug list to fix some of the bugs and will continue to do this. PJB is looking at the problems with the Tcl client API - the problem with lists not being wrapped correctly is now the most important thing to fix, as currently the visualiser doesn't work because of it.
  4. The task list for the SQLite schemas and APIs was reviewed. WY and PJB need to review the current status of the documents and then make them available as a deliverable - a separate review meeting will take place next week.
  5. Other task lists that were briefly looked at:
  6. Discussed schedule for review meetings. Weekly review meetings will take place every Tuesday at 10am; monthly meetings to take place on the last day of each month.

Action Items

  1. PJB: finish the project pages - make links from deliverables to task lists; add "missing" task documents; add explanatory text for deliverables on the index page.
  2. WY: write a simple client application to write out the database information as starting point for D 5.1.4.
  3. PJB: talk to Graeme Winter about producing an example XML file from Avi's schema.
