Dear all,
A PhD position is available in our laboratory at the European Synchrotron in Grenoble, within the InnovaXN Horizon 2020 MSCA COFUND programme.
We are looking for a highly motivated student to work on enzymes of melanogenesis as targets for developing efficient compounds to treat pigmentation disorders. In partnership with the biotech company ImmuSmol in Bordeaux, the project involves production and profiling of specific antibodies against melanin pathway metabolites, protein _expression_ and purification of tyrosinase enzymes, biochemical and biophysical assays, and structure determination by crystallography.
Candidates with a background in chemistry or life sciences and a strong interest in structural biology are encouraged to apply.
