We have an Assistant Scientist Position available in Cyo EM facility at Emory University to support the growing community of researchers in field of Cryo EM.
The School of Medicine seeks a motivated individual to join the recently expanded Robert P. Apkarian Integrated Electron Microscopy Core (IEMC) at Emory University. The scientist will assist users in all steps of single particle cryo-electron microscopy from sample preparation, screening, data collection, and data processing. The core houses a FEI Talos L120C screening microscope and a FEI Talos Arctica 200 kV FEG-TEM with a Gatan BioQuantum energy filter and K2 direct electron detector (to be upgraded to a K3 in January 2020) for high-resolution structure determination. This position will report to the Core Director and assist in routine activities in a team.
